PCTE Assistant Teacher Workshop

The PCTE Assistant Teacher Workshop is two-day seminar is designed for anyone interested in learning more about what it takes to be with children in a Montessori environment.

The workshop is recommended for assistants in Infant/Toddler, Early Childhood and Elementary classrooms who are new to Montessori, and non-Montessori employees. Discussion is centered on defining the role of the assistant through adult and child interactions, daily life of a typical classroom, the importance of observation and reflection, the assistant’s role and responsibilities and educating for peace.
