At PCTE, we understand that adult learners have high expectations. We realize that you want to learn about things that will be useful in your careers and expect a learning experience that will be worthwhile and not a waste of time or money. With that in mind, we created our programs specifically tailored to the way adults learn. This allows you — the learner — to be more engaged and therefore more excited about the material being presented.
PCTE teacher training programs are accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) and provide graduates with an American Montessori Society (AMS) credential at the Infant and Toddler, Early Childhood, Elementary I or Elementary I-II levels.
PCTE also offers various workshops and seminars throughout the year to facilitate learning and professional development for parents, classroom assistants, school leaders and anyone interested in learning more about the Montessori philosophy.
The PCTE evening classes are introductory classes designed for Montessori classroom assistants, parents, educators, childcare providers, grandparents, and anyone with an interest in learning more about Montessori education.
The PCTE Assistant Teacher Workshop is two-day seminar is designed for anyone interested in learning more about what it takes to be with children in a Montessori environment.
