PCTE students learn from watching the interaction, listening to the conversation, and focusing on children’s unique ways of expressing themselves.

Ewart Observing

PCTE continually strives to obtain the highest standards of program format and student/faculty relations. Accreditations remain current at all levels to provide our graduates with credentials that will represent them around the world as the highest caliber of Montessori teachers, as well as lead to further educational degrees.

A Passion For Teaching

At PCTE, we seek to instill a passion for teaching and use the Princeton Montessori School model to set the standards for a successful and rewarding career as a Montessori-trained teacher in any school. Adult instruction is continually supplemented with opportunities to observe children and their teachers in real-life situations. PCTE students learn from watching the interaction, listening to the conversation, and focusing on children’s unique ways of expressing themselves.

A Beautiful Campus - Serene Environments.

We have adapted a hybrid model of training during the pandemic. The courses include an academic phase and a practicum phase. The majority of the academic phase is held over the summer with weekend seminars during the school year. The Practicum phase begins in the Fall following the completion of the academic phase and lasts 9 months, during the typical school year calendar.
